Dolly Reel Privacy Policy

Effective July 8, 2026 · Dolly Reel is published by BossOS Pro (Buena Vista Vision, Inc.)

Dolly Reel records a smooth, automated scroll of a webpage you choose and saves the video to your computer. This policy describes what the extension can access, what it transmits, and what it stores. The short version: everything happens on your machine. The extension makes no network calls, collects nothing, and sends nothing anywhere.

What Dolly Reel accesses, and when

Only when you click the toolbar icon and press ROLL, Dolly Reel does two things to the tab you are looking at: it captures the tab's video stream so it can record, and it runs a small script that scrolls the page from top to bottom at a steady rate. It has no standing access to any website, never reads or records pages in the background, and stops both the recording and the scroll when the pass ends.

What is transmitted

Nothing. The recording is captured, encoded, and saved entirely inside your browser. The extension contains no analytics, no telemetry, no error reporting, and makes no requests to any server, including ours. Your video never exists anywhere but your machine unless you choose to share it.

What is stored

What Dolly Reel never does

Third-party services

None. The extension bundles all of its code, uses no remote code, and calls no third-party service.
